Anonymouse

Parsnip Peppersnatch is an unassuming mouse who resides in P.O. Box 12. Every night he scavenges for food, but he’s always careful to get home before the people come! If there’s one thing Parsnip simply cannot bear, it’s people! Eek!

But one day, Parsnip sees a small person who looks very sad. Suddenly he finds himself involved in a scheme that will take courage, know-how and even a few anonymous letters!

Praise for Anonymouse:

Anonymouse is a like a well loved quilt. Caroline effortlessly stitches together fabrics of courage and friendship, with threads of love. Throughout the story you are encouraged by its characters, and at the end you are wrapped in its warmth.”

Callie Love Jarrett, elementary-school teacher and lover of books

“A beautifully delightful story of curiosity, courage, and the power of simple friendship. Oh that all could have a sweet friend like the one in P.O. Box 12!”

Fayelle Ewuakye

Anonymouse is a heartwarming tale that will charm readers of all ages with its whimsical story of learning to be brave, encouraging others, and the brilliant virtues of correspondence.”

Natasha Metzler, author of The Princess and the Seeds and Christmas: The Whole Story of the God Who Loves

Anonymouse is a well-written and beautiful story for children. A small mouse who knows the power of a pen and the joy of friendship risks all to help a girl. Even if you’re small or shy, the best reason to be brave is to help someone else.”

Vicki V. Lucas, author of Tales of Shalock Stables

Anonymouse is a charming tribute to bravery, friendship, and the power of correspondence! An exquisite celebration of pen friendship.”
