the Bible study I had the privilege of leading last summer.

Old school church, the original, Acts 2. It sounds like a pretty cool place to be. Let’s look at some things we can learn from the early church and hopefully apply today:

1. The people devoted themselves to:

the apostles teaching,

the fellowship

the breaking of bread

and to prayer. (vs. 42)

2. all who believed were together (vs. 44)

3. they shared possessions, money, food. (vs. 45)

4. “day by day” they attended the temple together (vs. 46)

5. they ate and praised in their homes in addition to attending church. (vs. 47)

6. God blessed this. (vs. 47b)

None of my commentary is necessary. The Bible speaks for itself.
